Macquarie 2012 Access Worlds seeking team leaders and volunteers

by Julie Hodder on 18 Jan 2012
We can't wait to see you here! - Macquarie 2012 International Access Class World and International Championships Julie Hodder

The Macquarie Access Class 2012 Combined World and International Championships are being hosted by the Middle Harbour Yacht Club and sponsored by the Australian Access Class Association and we here in Australia are ecstatic about staging the event!

The regatta will also incorporate the 2012 Australian Access Class Championships. The event is expected to attract over 120 sailors from 12 countries. The Macquarie 2012 Access Worlds is currently seeking enthusiastic team leaders and volunteers to support this exiting event.

If you are interested in becoming a team leader for one of the areas, please email us commodore(at)mhyc.com.au or register online to apply to be a volunteer.

The organising committee acknowledges the need for a keen and well directed force of volunteers to deliver a world class event, this guide lists the numbers, skill, training and assets that force will require. While there are some specific volunteer roles that require sailing knowledge, there are many that do not.

We encourage involvement from people of all ages, from professionals to students. We have roles to suit everyone.

To follow the Macquarie 2012 Access Worlds, go to the official website. For further information on the event, please contact the MHYC Sailing Office on 02 9969 1244, or email nina(at)mhyc.com.au.
