London Olympics- Preview of day 2 for Team Australia

At the 2012 London Olympic Games, the waters off Weymouth and Portland will be busy with six classes in action on day two. The Finn and Star classes will contest races three and four, while the Women’s Match Racing round robin continues. The 49er, Laser and Laser Radial fleets will complete their first two races. Australian sailors will be competing in five of the six classes racing on Monday.

Australian Results: Finn – Brendan Casey – DNF/7 – 32points – 16th overall

Women’s Match Racing – Olivia Price, Nina Curtis and Lucinda Whitty – tied for first – wins against Finland and France

49er – Nathan Outteridge and Iain Jensen – Races 1, 2 – 12pm – Nothe Course
Laser – Tom Slingsby – Races 1, 2 – 12pm – Weymouth Bay South
Laser Radial – Krystal Weir – Races 1, 2 – 12.05pm – Weymouth Bay South
Finn – Brendan Casey – Races 3, 4 – 2pm – Weymouth Bay West
