Mark is one of the UK’s leading sailing coaches, a freelance yachting journalist and a talented, highly successful dinghy and keelboat sailor in his own right. In 2006 Mark was named RYA Coach of the Year after coaching the RYA Skandia Team GBR Paralympic Sonar Team to two successive World Titles in and 2006.

Mark’s coaching clients read like a who’s who of yachting, including Shirley Robertson, Ian Walker John Merricks, Chips Howarth, Nick Dempsey, Hannah Mills, Lucy Macgregor and many more. He is author of the acclaimed RYA Tactics book, and is one of only six coaches to be selected for the RYA’s elite Podium Coaching programme.
