There are some good signs as the clock ticks down to 2016, not the least was Tom Burtons win in the Laser Class in Palma with a 1,2,3 Laser medal race win by Australia.

Action continued today at the ISAF Sailing World Cup Mallorca as Giles Scott (GBR) retained the title he won last year. Action continued today at the ISAF Sailing World Cup Mallorca as Giles Scott (GBR) retained the title he won last year after a drama filled medal race, but one that ultimately didn't change any of the podium positions. Thomas Le Breton (FRA) took the silver and Jonathan Lobert (FRA) the bronze.

At the ISAF Sailing World Cup Mallorca, Martine Grael (BRA) and Ida Nielsen (DEN) were each looking to win here in Palma At the ISAF Sailing World Cup Mallorca, Martine Grael and Ida Nielsen were each looking to win here in Palma with only four points separating them and three 10 minute races to compete. The first race solved little with Grael pulling an extra two points ahead, and then in one decisive downwind leg, a two minute run, Grael shot from ninth to third, passing the Danes, and sealing her victory!

It was down to the business end of proceedings at the Trofeo Princesa Sofia - ISAF Sailing World Cup Mallorca. It was down to the business end of proceedings at the Trofeo Princesa Sofia - ISAF Sailing World Cup Mallorca as the final series concluded with Saturday 5 April’s Medal Races to decide the honours. Helena Lucas (GBR) took the 2.4mR gold as the Paralympic event concluded racing whilst Nacra 17, Laser Radial and Women’s RS:X gold medals were sealed with a day to spare.
