GME is a privately owned Australian company established in 1959. The GME Marine Division designs, manufactures and distributes a broad range of marine electronics products for both recreational and professional markets. The exported product line includes VHF and HF two-way radios, emergency beacons, entertainment systems, active/passive antennas and accessories.
GME’s broad product range and reputation coupled with exceptional channel relationships has allowed the company to define their market opportunities. No matter the situation within the global marine electronics market, GME undertakes an annual review to evaluate their relative position within the market. GME’s marketing strategy focuses on thinking globally, but acting locally where their overall goal is to build a better business, not necessarily a bigger business.
GME’s International Business Manager Sean Griffin was present at the dinner to accept the awards.
