If you are looking for that perfect place to take the kids this school holiday, the 2007 Club Marine Melbourne Boat Show at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre July 5-9 is the perfect place! With loads of activities for the whole family, there is everything you need for a big day out.

The show is packed with activities to keep children of all ages happy, including Flat Head Fred’s vibrant fishing show designed especially for the little tackers, the fun capers of Lulu and her gang, an animal nursery with lots of cute little animals, and even a rock climbing wall for the older kids.

While the little ones enjoy themselves with all the fun activities, parents can get amongst the action of the Boat Show, enjoying millions of dollars worth of boats, discovering the latest in boating, fishing, waterskiing, electronics, chandlery and safety gear. Or even get a great ‘show’ deal on a new boat!

There is a special ticket designed just for families, where forty dollars will get you, your partner and all your children into the show for a whole day of affordable fun!

Lindsay Grenfell, Chief Executive Officer of the Boating Industry Association Victoria says he is especially excited about this year’s show because of the way it has been geared towards children.

'This is the first year for a long time that we have targeted families and children, and we are thrilled to have this chance now the show falls during the school holidays,' Lindsay says.

'In light of current water restrictions, we have been responsible and not put the pool in this year’s show, but we have supplemented this with a number of new activities for the little ones.

'This show will be something for families to do on a cold winter’s day, something for the family to come out to together and enjoy.'

So if you are looking for the perfect activity to keep the whole family entertained for a day, or even a weekend, head to the Club Marine Melbourne Boat Show at the Melbourne Exhibition Centre from July 5-9, 2007.
