There is only four weeks left until the 50th Sydney International Boat Shows opens on the 3rd August 2017. In what will be a special year, the show returns fully to Darling Harbour coinciding with the completion of the new, purpose built International Conference Centre-Sydney facility.

The event is already the largest Boat Show in the Southern Hemisphere, and the return to its traditional home will proclaim a show almost double the size of what visitors experienced last year. It will also be the first consumer show that will occupy 100% of the available exhibition space.

The modern footprint of the exhibition centre will mean that visitors will enjoy two vast undercover levels of exhibitions consisting of the very best the recreational boating lifestyle has to offer. Further to this there will be a superb external open-air deck perched five levels up in the sky encompassing a fabulous array of activities including pools with kayak and SUP demonstrations, and a display of sports boats.

Only a few minutes’ walk away will be the always spectacular on-water marina display of very large and impressive vessels too large to accommodate in the undercover displays.

Boating Safety is at the core of the organiser’s charter, so again the show welcomes Transport for NSW as the show’s Partner in Safety. The Boating Safety Zone will be a hub of information for anyone who considers boating a part of their life. The Boating Safety Zone is a must visit location to get the latest information on how to make your time on the water with family and friends better.

The great Fishing Master Classes which will run twice a day. Visitors don’t have to book in. Simply join the class at any time and stay for as long as you like. The team of speakers will include industry leaders and well-known fishing personalities.

For the very first time, Sydney International Boat Show welcomes Australia International Dive Expo. This is a whole new dedicated diving exhibition area in the middle of SIBS, in the lower level halls. 2 Exhibitions for the price of 1.

Halls will open from 10am to 8pm, while the Marina will open from 10am up until 7pm. Tickets can be purchased online now. Visitors wanting more information or to buy tickets should visit the website
