Foiling World Cup on double trapeze foiling multihulls is on the way

by Roland Gaebler on 28 Apr 2015
TG foil - The Foiling World Cup Roland Gaebler
Foiling World Cup – Close action, engrossing battles, slick commentary, short races, legendary skippers, wild rookies and all starting exact on time. With innovative double trapeze foiling multihulls.

This will be one of the most spectacular sailing styles of the World. It is a new action sport purely powered by wind and water. With a new racing formula for maximum sailing action extremely close to the spectators and media in our sailing arena on a global tour.

The Foiling World Cup with short course racing would be a significant promotion for any city, region, resort locations and sports culture. The event can bring fresh life to the city lakes and port regions. We create a festive atmosphere around our Sailing Arena.

The new full carbon Formula Foiling Multihulls (20 footer) will have a 'box rule' to allow innovations and cost control. Every boat builder is welcome to join the race with his design.

Events are planned in Europe, America, Asia, Middle East. One lap around the globe. With the best male and female sailors of the World. Open entry!

We will start exactly on the time between 1-30kts. Perfect for live TV, video stream and spectators!

It is a new action sport with the new racing rules made by the International Foilracing Association IFA. These rules are specially made for high-speed foiling and similar to land- and ice sailing rules. But also influenced by F1 Motorsport.

Global media distribution to 180+ Nations (top return on investment for team and event sponsors). Activation and promotion in the most important markets worldwide. Sponsors can influence were we sail to reach their target group.

High emotional and extraordinary guest- and VIP sailing program on the double trapeze foiling multihulls for sponsors, friends and media. We call this Ultimate Foiling Experience J

Lean and lean event philosophy (lesser motorboats, more sit-in buoys drones). Economic and effective logistic system with 8-10 boats in one 40-foot container going around the globe to top venues. The Foiling World Cup™ global tour will start in 2016.

Great social program and party life. The maximum sailing action and fun for competitors, spectators, media and sponsors.
