Fifth Eastern States Impulse Championships overall

The fifth Eastern States Impulse Championships were hosted by the Richmond River Sailing and Rowing Club on the weekend of the 11th and 12th of April 2015.
A strong contingent of Impulses from numerous clubs in QLD and NSW descended on Ballina to contest the regatta, including several competitors from far away as the central coasts of NSW and QLD.
The series was held in mostly light conditions and was closely contested with only two points separating the first three place getters after seven races.
The overall winner was Ross Bradley, sailing 'Olde Golde' from the South Lake Macquarie Amateur Sailing Club. Second was local Richmond River sailor Graham Hams in 'Rufenuf', whilst in third place was David Harrison in 'Alabama' from Brisbane Sailing Squadron. The handicap honours was taken by Michael Mills in 'Millstone' from the Tweed Valley Sailing Club.
The 32nd Australian Impulse Championships will be conducted at the Gippsland Lakes Yacht Club, Paynesville between the 28th of December 2015 and the 3rd of January 2016, it was expected to be a record size fleet for an Impulse Australian Championship.
