The 2015 Phuket King’s Cup Regatta is set to become even faster and more exciting with the announcement that a fleet of Corsair Pulse 600's is now available for charter in the event.

The Corsair Pulse 600s have already impressed this year following their participation in the Phuket Race Week and the Multihull Solutions Regatta, and it is expected they will also be quickly snapped up for charter in the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta from 5-12 December.

The innovative trimarans have an enviable record of podium finishes and are ideal for Phuket’s sailing conditions as their new spinnaker and mast design facilitates outstanding performance both up and downwind.

Corsair's representative, Andrew de Bruin of Phuket Based Multihull Solutions Asia said the Corsair Pulse 600s are a force to be reckoned with on the racing circuit.

“These little yachts are giant killers in the right conditions, and their very competitive handicap rating means they are can never be underestimated,” Andrew said.

“The Pulse 600 reminds me of why I started sailing years ago. They are beautifully responsive and a real pleasure to helm. We’ve had excellent results with little prior experience,” he said.

A fleet of Pulse 600s has recently been sold to the Krabi Sailing Centre, who charter the boats for participating in regional regattas as well as using them for sail training and team building events.

The Corsair Pulse 600s will compete in their own division in the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta subject to confirmed participation numbers.

The Phuket King's Cup Regatta is Asia's biggest and most popular regatta. Inaugurated in 1987 to celebrate the 60th birthday of His Majesty the King of Thailand, the event has been held every year since during the first week of December.

With Royal Patronage, the Regatta is organised by the Phuket King's Cup Regatta Organizing Committee under the auspices of the Royal Varuna Yacht Club, in conjunction with the Yacht Racing Association of Thailand, the Royal Thai Navy and the Province of Phuket.

Seven-day charter packages for the Corsair Pulse 600s in the Phuket King’s Cup Regatta start from USD$2,300.

Charter bookings for the trimarans can be made by contacting the Krabi Sailing and Powerboat Centre on +66 81 486 7208 or emailing info@krabisailingschool.com.
Further information on the Pulse 600s can be obtained at www.multihullsolutions.asia.

Normally, when you think of the triple it might be Line Honours, Corrected Time, and Race Record Normally, when you think of the triple it might be Line Honours, Corrected Time, and Race Record. So then, how about sail it, sponsor it, and truly support it? his was the notion that arrived as I pondered the recently completed Sail Port Stephens.
