Date announced for the 41st Gosford to Lord Howe Island Yacht Race

Gosford to Lord Howe Island Yacht Race 2015 - The Gosford Sailing Club has announced a start date for the 2015 Gosford to Lord Howe Island Yacht Race as Saturday March 28.

Whilst the date is a week earlier in the year than the past two running's, the scheduling is based on the necessity for the GSC to work around Easter and the NSW school holidays. This helps alleviate accommodation difficulties on the Island during their peak season.

The Gosford Club is presently in discussions with the 2014 sponsor Mount Gay Rum, for a continuance of the association, which by all accounts was a very popular and successful union this Event website
