North Sails Performance 2023 - LEADERBOARD

Club Marine Range Series - A great success for North Sails clients!

by North Sails on 1 Apr 2014
Ikon 1st DIV 1 North Sails http://www.northsails.com/
The outstanding performance by many North Sails clients who competed throughout the season in the Club Marine Range Series has sparked us to highlight their results and identify what makes the difference!

North Sails would like to congratulate all our customers that participated in the Club Marine Range Series.

North Sails powered boats filled six of the 12 available podium places across four divisions, including winning three of those four divisions!

Notable mention goes to Ikon Bruce McKraken who won all eight of their races! Both Noel and Aaron from the North Sails' Melbourne loft have been working closely with the Ikon team, optimising the tuning of their sail and rig setup through the wind range to maximise the boats performance. We wish them luck as they travel north to compete at Newcastle for the 2014 IRC Nationals later this month.

Terra Firma's well deserved win in Div 0 was another highlight of the series and Nick Bartel's continued commitment to the sport and enjoyment is great to see.

Aaron Cole from our Melbourne Loft commented: 'We have really made a conscious effort to spend time both on and off the water with all our clients to pass on what we look for in both overall sail - rig set-up and crew techniques. Getting owners and crew well educated in how they can maximise the performance of their boat no matter how big or small is key and often makes all the difference as we have seen this year. I have really enjoyed working with a number of owners who understand this and we have gone to great lengths to ensure we meet their performance and durability expectations. This has included owners taking part in the sail analysis program where we educate them on how to accurately take photos that we can digitally scan using North Sails ASA software. This allows us to apply the exact modifications we wish to make to a certain sail and gives the owner an opportunity to be actively involved.'

For more information on how Noel Drennan and Aaron Cole can assist your sailing program no matter how big or small. Contact North Sails today!

Again we would like to thank all of our clients for their continued support.

Good Luck and Fast North North Sails One Design
