Very shifty winds with lots of pressure changes made for an other challenging day at the Laser Worlds. A good first race for Chris Dold in blue fleet who finished 12th, same as Lee Parkhill in the yellow fleet. Lee came back from 21st at the first mark and made his gains on the first run. David Wright, also in yellow fleet, had a similar run to Lee moving from 22nd to 14th. Unfortunately David ran out of breeze on the second upwind and dropped back to high 20's. A good run saw him gain a view spots for a 21st place finish.
The second race saw a great start from Lee. Lee was second at the first mark, behind David who played the left side of the upwind. Lee dropped a place on the run but made some good decisions on the second upwind to place second behind David at the second top mark. Positions did not change and a good race win for David who lead around all marks. A second place for Lee will have him move up on the score board.
A solid second race for Robert Davis with a 13th finish in Red fleet and for Alex Heinzemann who crossed the finish in 16th.
David Wright is currently in fifth and Lee Parkhill in 13th.
