by Dale Lorimer on 8 Nov 2014 With seven weeks to the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race, two of the leading contenders for race honours lined up for the Cabbage Tree Island Race to test their recent modifications. Just prior to sunset, racing commenced in Sydney Harbour with the fleet sailing close to the eastern shore in a light early breeze. Dale Lorimer captured the fleet gracefully passing through the heads and headed up the coast in the failing light, trying to catch as many boats as possible prior to blackness.
