CDA congratulates 2013 Canadian 14 Foot Dinghy Hall of Fame inductees

The Canadian Dinghy Association would like to congratulate the 2013 inductees into the Canadian 14 Foot Dinghy Hall of Fame!

They are:

Fred Buller, Royal Canadian Yacht Club (posthumous)
Jay Cross, Royal Canadian Yacht Club
Ward McKimm, Britannia Yacht Club
Karen McRae, Royal Canadian Yacht Club
John Robertson, Royal Hamilton Yacht Club
Tom 'Storm King' Turrall, National Yacht Club (posthumous)
Tim Walsh, Royal Canadian Yacht Club
George 'Bud' Whittaker, Royal Canadian Yacht Club

Inductees to this Hall of Fame are chosen based on their outstanding contributions to 14 sailing in one or more of the following areas:

Competitive sailing in 14’s
Design and/or building
Class organization and/or growth

These great sailors will be inducted into the Hall of Fame at a dinner on Saturday, September 14th, following Race 1 of the World Championships, at the Royal Canadian Yacht Club. Seating is limited, so please register with the RCYC Reception at 416-967-7245.
