For the month of October White Bay 6 Marine Park has become Pink Bay 6 Marine Park to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

“With October being Breast Cancer Awareness Month, it is the perfect time for White Bay 6 Marine Park to raise awareness about breast cancer throughout the marine sector. This year alone an estimated 17586 women will be diagnosed with the disease and they need our support. Without the amazing women that play a very crucial role throughout boating sector, the industry would not be what it is today. This month we are changing our name to Pink Bay 6 Marine Park whilst trying to raise as much money as we can for the McGrath Foundation to assist in placing specialist McGrath Breast Care Nurses wherever they’re needed, and make breast health understanding a priority”. Jeremy Rose, GM, Pink (White) Bay 6 Marine Park.

Throughout October the team have been holding various activities to support the campaign. Other marine businesses have joined in with PPG Marine Coatings donating an entire antifoul up to 80ft, Oz Jet Boating donating double passes for their jet boat adventure rides, and retailer BoatCrewGear.com and Gill Australia joining forces to donate $5.00 from every pink PFD sold.

This weekend, 21-22 October, the team at Pink Bay 6 are lining up to wash your boat (up to 32ft). For the pleasure of having a nice clean boat they are asking that you donate to the McGrath Foundation on the day!

Book your boat in now by emailing info@whitebay6.com.au
