Beneteau pulls a hat-trick at St Helena's Cup

Blunderbuss helps team TROIS FIRSTS to earn a victory in the teams compeition - St Helena's Cup Lee Randall
It seems the French did have one reason to celebrate this past weekend, with the Beneteau racing team Trois Firsts living up to its namesake and reputation at the St Helena’s Cup in Manly. The team pulled off a convincing victory in the teams’ competition, finishing over 100 points clear of second place.

This A team included the Beneteau First40’s 'BlunderBuss' and 'Lunchtime Legend' and First50 'The Matrix' with all yachts triumphantly placing within the top 10 respectively and sold through ENSIGN Yachts/ Beneteau QLD.

Ensign broker and sail trimmer for ‘Lunchtime Legend’, Lee Randall, was ecstatic with the team’s victory.

'Naturally we are pretty happy with the result. This regatta was an important part of our build up for Hobart this year and it’s good to see the results starting to come through. Sir Robbo (owner of ‘Lunchtime Legend’) has put a lot of faith in the team at BeneteauU QLD to provide him with a yacht that will bring home the results and we are happy to repay that faith.' Randall said of the regatta.

'We are very happy with the performance of all our yachts on the weekend and look forward to supporting all these teams in the future. It is great to see that all of our yachts are at the front of their respective fleets some with very short preparation times. The future is looking bright'

Randall also managed an impressive individual win for ‘Lunchtime Legend’ in the prestigious IRC division, overcoming both the current State Champion 'Gauntlet' and several other worthy adversaries to take out the title.
