The Australian Sailing Team is proud to announce the launch of its new website www.australiansailing.org which was designed in collaboration with Fox Sports Pulse and developed by the Fox Sports Pulse team.

The dynamic site has been developed to provide a unique level of information and access to the Australian Sailing Team’s news, event results and social media with a definite goal of creating a home for both the team as well as the individual athletes – all in one, easy accessible place.

It provides a platform for supporters, partners, sponsors, media and fans to follow the Team’s journey to the Rio 2016 Olympic and Paralympic Games and beyond.

Particular effort has been made to consolidate the athlete’s social media profiles and to provide a central source for all of the team's Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube posts, photos and videos, reflecting the growing importance of Social Media and the opportunities it provides for Olympic and Paralympic athletes to communicate and engage with fans, media and supporters.

The website and social media links provide fans and supporters with an unique insight into the life of the Australian Sailing Team members and the hard work they put in to achieving success.

The site will continue to grow over the next few weeks, including the addition of profile videos of the Team’s athletes.

The site is built on the Fox Sports Pulse Elite Website platform and offers a responsive design and thus an excellent experience for all users no matter what device they use - mobile phone, tablet or desktop.

The site also makes it easy for Australian Sailing Team staff to add and maintain news, events and information, ensuring that Australian Sailing Team’s followers are kept up to date and well informed.

The launch of the new website comes timely to follow the updates from the Olympic class Australian Sailing Team and Squad who start racing at the 2014 ISAF Sailing World Championship in Santander, Spain Australian Sailing Team new website
