Auction demand increases for all types of boats

by Marine Auctions on 17 Jun 2015 Sale prices for all types of boats sold at our last regular boat auction, held at Runaway Bay on Sunday 24th May 2015 increased by around 15 to 20% . The enquiry level for this auction was the best we have seen in the last two years, with a very strong interest coming from throughout Australia.

More than 600 people attended the auction with bidders coming from every state of Australia and also from New Zealand. A substantial increase in absentee and telephone bidders was also experienced with over 51 people bidding on the internet and of the 30 lots offered for sale, with over 50% of them were sold under the hammer.

Some of the vessels sold at the auction include:

• 2002 Perry 43 Catamaran sold including Buyers Premium for $327,977.50.
• 2000 Grainger Catamaran sold including Buyers Premium for $277,120.
• 2006 Schionning Catamaran sold including Buyers Premium for $230,572.50.
• 1996 Horizon 50 sold including Buyers Premium for $162,375.00
• 1989 Sea Ray 440 Express sold including Buyers Premium for $79,022.50
• 2005 Regal 2860 sold including Buyers Premium for $54,125.00.
• 1997 Sea Ray 330 sold including Buyers Premium for $43,300.00.

• 1979 Irwin 52 Cutter Ketch - Owner will consider All Offers
