America's Cup - Emirates Team NZ welcome Optimist Nationals fleet

A jump back in time to where it all began for a few of the Emirates Team New Zealand guys Ray Davies, Peter Burling & Blair Tuke - Emirates Team NZ at the Toyota NZ Optimist Nationals Hamish Hooper/Emirates Team NZ http://www.etnzblog.com
Emirates Team New Zealand sailing team popped down to the Kohimarama Yacht Club to give to the Toyota NZ Optimist Nationals fleet a hand at the end of the regatta.

The Team welcomed the 258 young Opti sailors from four countries back after the finish of the Nationals.

The sailing team present included:

Skipper Glenn Ashby (15 World Champion, Olympic Silver medalist, AC winning coach)
Ray Davies (Past Opti national winner)
Peter Burling (Past Opti national winner, Multiple World Champion, Olympic Silver Medalist)
Blair Tuke (Multiple World Champion, Olympic Silver Medalist)
Guy Endean (former Kohi Yacht club member- came from exactly where the current kids are from)
+ a few grinders to help with the heavy lifting!
