by ISAF on 25 Nov 2015
Development Symposium ISAF
ISAF Member National Authority delegates working in Training, Coaching and Development within the MNA are invited to attend the 2016 Development Symposium set to be held in Singapore from 2-4 February 2016.

The 2016 ISAF Development Symposium will be hosted in collaboration with the ISAF Member National Authority for Singapore, the Singapore Sailing Federation. The Symposium will be delivered from Hotel Jen Orchardgateway as well as the Singapore Sports Institute.

Over the last three years MNAs from all over the world have benefitted from ISAF Training and Development programs and the Development Symposium is where many MNAs learn what they could benefit from. Topics of discussion will include the Emerging Nations Program, World Sailing Paralympic Development Programme, Race Official education and information on the World Anti-Doping Agency.

The ideal delegates are those working in Training, Coaching and Development within your MNA or anyone who has an influence within the MNA is welcome to attend and will run over three days to ensure sufficient time for all discussions.

Bookings (including preferential accommodation prices at the event venue) will close on 2 January 2016, booking before this date is therefore essential. In order to maximise the number of potential MNAs present at this event bookings are limited to a maximum of two persons per MNA. Each delegate must be endorsed by the ISAF Member National Authority which they will represent at the Development Symposium.

Further details on the Development Symposium, including reports and feedback from previous years, can be found here.

If you wish to register, please contact the ISAF Training and Development department at cathy.armstrong@isaf.com.
