As we crown Karen Langston from Beccles, Suffolk and Jacob Hill from Bangor, County Down winners seven and eight in the ilovesailing 2014 calendar competition just four more spots remain on the 2015 calendar.

From yet another bumper crop of entries submitted throughout June, Karen and Jacob were picked by the judges earning them a spot on the 2015 calendar, which will be available for purchase from the 13 September when it is officially unveiled at the PSP Southampton Boat Show. Karen and Jacob also clinch a whole host of other goodies including:

• Two tickets to the PSP Southampton Boat Show
• Canvas print of their winning entry
• A copy of the final printed calendar
• A selection of RYA goodies
• And of course the much loved and coveted ilovesailing rubber duck!

'I’m chuffed to have my picture included in the calendar, it’ll look good on the fridge', commented Jacob of his win. 'It was taken in Ballyholme Bay in Belfast Lough, N. Ireland when the wind was blowing force four-five from the north east, giving some chop.'

While Karen, who was also a winner in the 2013 calendar competition commented: 'Thank you, how lovely to be one of the winners again. I enjoy looking out for pictures for the RYA ilovesailing Facebook photo competition.

'This photo from Beccles Regatta 2012 is of the Helen James race in which lady helms compete in Norfolk dinghies. That year Georgie Roll in B21 won the race seen in the foreground. I am often trying to capture the whole Norfolk fleet and this was one of the few occasions I got most of them into a single frame.

'The new red duck will be kept in good company with the previous year’s blue and white ones!'

You can view all the calendar competition entries on the ilovesailing Facebook page

The ilovesailing calendar competition runs from March through to August 2014, with two photo winners being picked each month to appear on the 2015 calendar.

'Yet again the entries we received this month have been fantastic and so diverse, there really are some amazing photos being sent in making the task of choosing just two winners a tricky task for the judges', commented Emma Slater, ilovesailing coordinator.

'With four more spots on the calendar up for grabs we would encourage everyone to get their entries in. We will pick two more winners at the end of July and the final two at the end of August.'

All you have to do to take part is post your favourite sailing photo(s) on to the ilovesailing Facebook page or email your entry to emma.slater@rya.org.uk, it’s that easy.

Two winners will be picked each month and will be announced on the ilovesailing Facebook page and/or contacted via email. All winners will also receive a copy of the calendar when it is completed as part of their prize package.

The calendars will go on sale at the PSP Southampton Boat Show 2014, with the first 50 people to purchase a copy at the show also receiving their very own red, ilovesailing rubber duck.

As well as the new calendar competition the ilovesailing page will continue to run its ever popular weekly caption competition, giving you a chance to share your funny, clever and witty captions in a bid to win an ilovesailing duck.

Come along to the page at ilovesailing Facebook page and get involved.
