by Rich McVeigh on 17 Sep 2015
2015 Hobie 16 Open North American Championships Rich McVeigh
70+ teams from all across North America will be descending on Pensacola, Florida and the Pensacola Yacht Club for the 45th Hobie 16 North American Championships.

We are seeing a growth in our class and this will be the largest Hobie 16 North American Championship since 2005. Racing is scheduled to begin Monday, September 21, 2015 on the classic Hobie 16 in Pensacola Bay.

Four to five races are expected to be held every day for five days with the champion being crowned on Friday. Many former North American Champions and other top sailors in the class will be in attendance so the racing will be competitive.
