Gotta Love It 7 on her way to dominant win - Giltinan 18ft Skiff Championship 2012 Frank Quealey /Australian 18 Footers League http://www.18footers.com.au

18ft Skiffs Winning Appliances JJ Giltinan - Race 5.

What goes 1,1,2,1,1? Gotta Love It 7's score sheet after five races, that's what!

And it gets better for Seve Jarvin, Scott Babbage, Sam Newton because after 5 heats all skiffs can drop their worst performance which gives them 4 x first = 4 points.

appliancesonline, Mica Lane, Paul Montegue, Tom Anderson came home in second, and Alex Valling's C-Tech (NZ) third, thanks to Thurlow Fisher Lawyers capsizing on the last approach to Shark Island on a transiting motor vessel's huge wash.

With two races left to sail, 7 is unbackable to take this year's JJ Giltinan. However the fight for second and third on the final podium come Sunday is heating up, with at least six teams in that fight. This where the spectator interest is now that 7 cannot be toppled.
