For the last day of racing the entire regatta fleet was sent on short passage races starting from the yacht club line in Dent Passage. With 15 knot southeasterlies in bright sunshine it made for a colourful and fast start. A number of the yachts had a nervous moment or two, rounding up in the gusty breezes in the lee of the northern point of Dent Island.
