Attitude breaks Auckland Tauranga Race record

Attitude, an 8.5 metre catamaran has taken line honours in the Int paints Auckland Tauranga Race Richard Gladwell www.photosport.co.nz

At 2016hrs Friday evening, Attitude, skippered by Shane Bellingham was first to finish the International Paints Auckland Tauranga Race. She has unofficially broken the record for multihulls under 10.66 metres.

Attitude was designed by John Tetzlaff and is 8.5 metres long.

The line honours race record stands at 9hrs 35min stands and the mulithull record of 9hrs 55min is held by Sundance.
