As Phuket hots up so too does PIMEX. The island is showing strong tourism numbers with airport arrivals continuing on the up. Hotels and resorts reported high occupancies over Christmas and New Year and forward bookings are looking to be some of the best yet.
The marine scene in Asia is going into overdrive having finished 2012 with the Phuket King's Cup Regatta, 2013 kicked -off with the Royal Langkawi International Regatta, the Singapore Straits Regatta is underway and Phuket's most fun sailing event, the Bay Regatta, set sail earlier today (31 January). The regional boat show seasons begins with PIMEX - Asia’s favourite boat show - on 21 March. Recent additions to the line-up at PIMEX are a number of new and returning exhibitors bringing new and exciting products to the market.
