The Sail Canada Board of Directors are ecstatic to announce the recipients of the 2012 Sail Canada Awards and the top three finalists for the Rolex Sailor of the Year.

Nathan R. Cowan Memorial Award for Developing Sailors - Jacob Chaplin Saunders – Saunders 470 team
William Abbott Sr. Trophy – Sail Training Program of the Year - Vancouver Island School Sailing League - Royal Victoria Yacht Club
Chisolm Trophy for Excellence in Race Management - Craig and Ross CYA Youth National Championships
Recreation Event of the Year - Toronto Windsurfing Club
City of Kingston Regatta of the Year - 2012 Shark Worlds – Kingston Yacht Club
Rolex Sailor of the Year - Top Three finalists - Paul Davis, Oskar Johansson, and Zac Plavsic
The Rolex Sailor of the Year will be revealed at the Sail Canada Rolex Sailor of the Year Awards. The 2012 Sail Canada Awards will be presented at the Sail Canada Rolex Sailor of the Year Awards on Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Toronto at The Carlu.
