2nd annual Nautique Wake Open - World Wakeboard Association - Nautique Wake Open World Wakeboard Association
Wakeboard World Series - The World Wakeboard Association has begun accepting registrations for the 2015 Nautique Wake Open via thewwa.com. Serving as the season opening event for the WWA Wakeboard World Series presented by Rockstar Energy Drink and the second stop of the Nautique Wake Series, BSR Cable Park in Waco, Texas will host the second annual Nautique Wake Open from April 16-18.

'The Nautique Wake Open is a great event to kickoff our WWA Wakeboard World Series presented Rockstar and amateur season,' said WWA President Shannon Starling. 'The Wake Open has all ages, all divisions from pro to amateur and just screams that summer is here and its time to ride.'

The contest features all male and female amateur divisions as well Jr. Pro, Pro Women, Pro Wakeskate and Pro Men. All of the competitors will be towed exclusively by the award winning Super Air Nautique G21 and G23 allowing riders of all skill levels the opportunity to compete on the industry’s best wakes.

'I'm really looking forward to competing at the Nautique Wake Open,' said Team Nautique rider Josh Twelker. 'The contest format is great because it brings everyone in the sport together and allows amateur riders the chance to compete on the same stage as the pros. Hands down, the Nautique Wake Series features the best contests in wakeboarding. I expect to see some great riding from all of the competitors because of the best wake in wakeboarding created by the Super Air Nautique G21 and G23.'

'Nautique is proud to once again pull the most elite wake series in the sport featuring a family atmosphere and the highest level of competition from amateur to pro,' stated Nautique President/CEO Bill Yeargin. 'Our vision for this competitive series not only highlights the world’s best athletes but grows the sport giving every rider the opportunity to compete on a world class stage,' added Yeargin.

The Nautique Wake Open is one of four Nautique Wake Series events that help comprise the 9-stop Wakeboard World Series. Besides the Nautique Wake Open, the Nautique Pro Am, the Nautique WWA Wakeboard National Championships and Wakestock are all part of the Wakeboard World Series.
