WWA Wake Park Worlds 2014 World Wakeboard Association
The 2014 WWA Wake Park World Championships hosted by Al Forsan International Sports Resort launched today with serious yet very fun amateur events in Abu Dhabi, UAE. Women and Men Amateurs, Masters and Junior Boys and girls got the memo and were ready to shred the beautiful park all day long.

The day started with an open practice before diving head first in the competition side of things. 'Masters Category is going to be the most exciting part of the day!' shouted a grinning Dean Smith, straight from the water after a good crash during the warm up session. It was indeed: the friendly competition amongst the riders was a great show for everyone who came to watch. A whole day of competition rolled through under the radiant desert sun, showing the every improving riding levels in amateurs. Other strong moment of the day was with the Juniors: the wakeboard world can be sure that the next generation is there and ready to rock in both men and women’s!

Both amateurs and pro riders came from all over the world to attend this staple event on the wakeboarding calendar, making it another successful, international edition. Tomorrow promises another beautiful day in wake paradise, with competitions in wakeskate, all features categories and the awaited Pro Men and Pro Women divisions.

We sure are looking forward to another two days of insane riding, smiles all around and mellow vibe here in Abu Event website
