O'pen Bic WOC - Wind and sun with close racing on day 2

Day two of the O'pen Bic WOC again had wind, sun and waves with a 12-18 knots NE breeze.
Two fleets took to the water again with the U13 Division completing three races first on the GOLF course at Travemunde week. There were three different winners for the races with Australia's Jack Challands winning the second of the day.
The other two races were also closely contested with Jack finishing in the top four. Jack after five races has a slender 5pt lead over second. Travis Wadley who only a few hours earlier was at the doctor for a severe flu made it on the water and posted placings of 17,19,19 to be 17th overall.
After the U13 fleet finished it was the U16-U19 turn they also completed three races later in the afternoon which saw the wind increase to 15-20knts. Australia's Kristen Wadley had placings of 6,11,13 which put her up to sixth overall and to the lead by in the Girls division by a slender two pts. George Morton also had a great afternoon with a 24,16,7 placing in the strong 80 boat fleet.
Wind and sea conditions for day three are forecast to be increasing.
