Race 7 of the JJ Giltinan Trophy got underway at 3.00pm on Sunday - see the full delayed coverage here

Although the winner is decided with one race to go, the battle for the minor places was wide open. Could the Kiwis get on the podium? Or will it be a clean sweep? Follow the action here.

34 boats from six countries are competing with crews from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Denmark, Great Britain and Poland on the start line. This is the most competitive JJ's ever.

Conditions were far from perfect for the 15 teams with a variable south wind the order of the day.

Syd. Barnett Jr. Memorial Trophy: Lumix grabbed the lead after rounding the first set of windward marks. Lumix grabbed the lead after rounding the first set of windward marks and was never in any real danger of defeat as the team sailed faultlessly around the North-East course. Mojo Wine, skippered by Australian 16 Footer champion Lee Knapton, and crewed by Ricky Bridge and Mike McKensey, was a further 1m16s back in third place.

18ft Skiffs: Team Seven, took lead on third leg of South course and then, were never headed before taking victory. 18ft Skiffs: Team Seven took the lead on the third leg of the South course and from that point were never headed before taking the victory by 48s from the early leader Coopers 62-Rag & Famish Hotel (Jack Macartney, Mark Kennedy, Peter Harris). After a long battle with Coopers-Rag, Smeg (David Witt, Tom Clout, Matt Wark) finished a further 19s back in third place.
