It has been announced that the Laser Radial will be utilised as the boys and girls one-person dinghy equipment at the 2013 ISAF Youth Worlds in Limassol, Cyprus from 13-20 July.

With the final decision on the equipment made, the deadline for boys and girls Laser Radial reservations has been extended to Friday 1 March to allow Member National Authorities further time to submit their reservations.

As detailed in the Notice of Race, published on 3 December 2012, equipment reservations received after the deadline may not be guaranteed a place at the regatta.

All MNAs in good standing with ISAF may enter one crew per event and every competitor must be a national of the country which is entering him or her.

All relevant entry documents were sent to MNAs in December 2012. Please contact the ISAF Secretariat (antonio.lamadrid@isaf.com) if you would like further information or visit the ISAF Youth Worlds website.

Race day 23 at HK Raceweek was like sailing in Melbourne. Four seasons in the same day. The forecast for the morning was for a light breeze at first and that’s precisely what it was – but a little too light to put it mildly. RO Barry Truhol said shortly before 1000hrs, 'we are sat in the middle of Stanley Bay; Round Island zero breeze, zero knots; Stanley Bay, zero breeze, zero knots; out towards Tai Tam Bay zero breeze, zero knots.
