The Royal Hong Kong Yacht Club (RHKYC) will close another successful racing season with the support of Edmond de Rothschild, the Club’s official wealth management partner.

Open to entrants from all of Hong Kong's sailing clubs, with over 100 keelboats expected to compete in ten classes, the Spring Regatta will feature three races over two days, with the winners announced immediately after racing at the Sunday evening prizegiving.

The Regatta forms the first part of a new regatta series which will be completed in September with the Edmond de Rothschild Autumn Regatta. Both regattas will be staged in Hong Kong’s Victoria Harbour, the cumulative results of both to be used to determine the overall series winner in each class. Each winner will be presented with a bespoke trophy designed by Van Eyck Fine Jewelry.

The start line and courses will be set on the day by the Race Officer, Simon Boyde, his selection being influenced by wind and tidal conditions. On Saturday the Big Boat class starts the action at 1350hrs, while Race 2 starts at 1110hrs on Sunday, with Race 3 to follow as soon as possible.
