2016 YANMAR Moth World Championships – Day 3 overall

Paul Goodison, 2008 Olympic Gold Medallist in the Laser class, has taken the lead in the YANMAR Moth World Championships at Hayama, Japan after a superb day including two race wins and a third. Hot on his heals is Chris Rashley, just a point behind and equal on points without a discard. This battle of the Brits looks set to go down to the wire...

Australian Scott Babbage continues to knock in consistent results and a win in the final race of the day leaves him just six points behind Rashley, with a comfortable cushion over fellow Australian, the fourth placed Josh Mcknight.

Robert Greenhalgh will jump back up the standings once the second discard comes into play, but he's 'walking on egg shells' with a Retired and Did Not Compete in his scoreline.
