18ft skiffs- More of Sunday's action from Sydney Harbour

by Beth Morley on 12 Nov 2014 Sydney photographer, Beth Morley from Sport Sailing Photography was on hand to capture the second race of the Australian 18 Footer League’s Club Championship, sailed on Sunday on Sydney Harbour.

Gotta Luv 7 wins Race 2 of the of the 18 Footer's Club Championship. Applicances Online had a close call with the spectator ferry and had to gybe pretty quickly to avoid the ferry's bow but finished 4th, and Mojo Wine were declared OCS at the start and continued to sail but were disqualified as they didn't return to re-start the race.

Smeg and Gotta Luv it 7 sailed a different course around Shark Island towards the Rose Bay mark, with Coopers 62-Rag & Famish Hotel taking the other side of the island.

Smeg finished up in 3rd place after having to do a penalty turn for a port and starboard breach with Coopers 62-Rag & Famish near the finish line, leaving Coopers 62-Rag & Famish Hotel 2nd Place.
