Louis Vuitton Cup supremo, Bruno Trouble says that in his view there will be only two well funded Challengers at the next America's Cup and with a field of that size he is pleased that Louis Vuitton is no longer involved.
'There will be only two well funded Challengers at the Challenger Series,' he said. 'It will be pretty boring and I am glad that Louis Vuitton pulled out. You may remember that for most of the Louis Vuitton Cups we had over 10 teams. In Fremantle we had 13 teams. In Auckland we had ten teams. So a Challenger Series with just two teams means nothing.'
