America's Cup- Oracle's Spithill retrieved from San Francisco Bay

Oracle Team USA's skipper James Spithill has been retrieved from San Francisco Bay, after an incident on May 30.

Initially it was rumoured that Spithill and tactician John Kostecki had both gone in the chilly water. However the information was unable to be corroborated, until two images appeared on Spithill's Facebook page, taking a light-hearted view of the incident.

One explanation, other than the obvious one, is that it was a training drill.
