Our coverage of the America´s Cup is beginning to ramp up, the first race in the 2013 Louis Vuitton is this weekend. (1pm Sunday afternoon San Francisco time (Monday 6am AEST). We are experiencing large traffic increases and we had overload problems during the week when we sent out our latest AC newsletter, but with more servers coming online, we don't expect to see a repeat of that. In that process if you receive multiple copies of this newsletter, please forgive us.

Lots of news, photos and video again today. Claims and Counterclaims that often sound more like political spin. Regatta Director Iain Murray took the media to the point of exhaustion during the week with his detailed briefing to address issues raised in the protests filed by Emirates Team New Zealand and Luna Rossa Challenge head on.

Murray says claims that his 37 Safety Rules are changing the game one week before the regatta are baseless.

Of course that brought more reactions. What we are starting to see is much more technical detail. Today Tom Slingsby tells us about Rudder wings.

Looking forward to having you with us on the balance of the weekend and on Monday morning, but lets agree not to talk about the Rugby.

Rather than having to wander all over the internet to get the fullest coverage, just come to www.sail-world.com early on Monday morning where you will see every element of the first race, with expert commentary from Richard Gladwell and Bob Fisher, live coverage, lots of telemetry, lots of video and lots of pix.

Coup for Audi Hamilton Island Race Week. With dual America´s Cup winner Ernesto Bertarelli, chartering Wild Oats X and will have some of his America’s Cup team, including Kiwi tactician, Brad Butterworth, sailing with him.

Record entries for Australia’s biggest Youth Championships - 2013 OAMPS Insurance Brokers Queensland Youth Week being sailed out of Royal Queensland Yacht Squadron. 240 yachts across 15 classes.

Have YOU entered Abell Point Airlie Beach Race Week www.airliebeachraceweek.com.au Audi Hamilton Island Race Week www.hamiltonislandraceweek.com.au and SeaLink Magnetic Island Race Week www.magneticislandraceweek.com.au YET?

Sydney Hobart – Will they? Won't they?
Huey loves to shake things up, so here is some Maths to ponder whilst he makes up his mind... Now at just after 1110hrs AEDT on December 28, 2025, the leaders are just South of a place called Friendly Beaches. SHK Scallywag still leads, but now Master Lock Comanche is in second, with LawConnect in third.
