America's Cup- Artemis Racing training on San Francisco Bay + Video

by Richard Gladwell, Sail-World.com on 20 Mar 2014

For those longing for a Cup-Fix after six months of abstinence, videographer John Navas was back on the seawall on San Francisco Bay and provided this gallery of images and video of Artemis Racing (SWE) out sailing on San Francisco Bay.

The former Challenger of Record still has a base set up in Alameda used in the last America's Cup, and have a sailing team on site.

They are believed to be undertaking testing in AC45's (non-foiling).

And no, there is nothing come to light on the Protocol for the 35th America's Cup expected to have been announced on March 16, 2014. No announcement on the venue, either - which all works the way of the existing teams and those not requiring sponsorship before they can proceed.

Three teams are currently sailing AC45's and another three are competing in the Extreme Sailing Series, currently in Oman.
