An impressive speakers’ list is developing for the marine15 International Conference and Trade Exhibition 3rd- 5th May 2015 to be held on the Gold Coast. 55 keynote and conference stream sessions are being finalised for the event.

Motivational speaker Tony Mowbray will tell his story of the 'Power of Commitment' that enabled him to become the fastest Australian to sail solo, non-stop and unassisted around the world. Two years earlier, Tony and his crew on board his yacht 'Solo Globe Challenger' were part of the 1998 Sydney to Hobart yacht race, which encountered the worst race-conditions in its 54 year history. Tony’s inspiring story will offer marine15 delegates with a recipe for success in today’s challenging business climate.

Jeff Hoedt, Chief, Boating Safety Division of the US Coast Guard is planning to attend and Jean Murray, Chair of the Canadian Safe Boating Council was able to confirm this week her speaking engagement. Jean has a wealth of experience in successfully engaging and collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders in government and NGO across jurisdictions in both Canada and the USA to promote boating safety.

Kerry Moher, Vice President Business Development, Fresh Air Educators Inc. of North America is the latest speaker to confirm attendance in support of the Safety stream. Kerry will provide insights into the rapidly building world of online education informed by the work of Fresh Air Educators which has delivered more than one million online courses that include paddling and power boating.

Managing today’s workforce and creating the right service culture are two topics to be addressed by Karie Stubek from K-T Training Solutions. Jeff d’Álbora, Chairman of the marine15 Organising Committee has heard Karie address marine industry conferences in the USA and believes she will be an excellent addition to the conference program. Karie specialises in developing strategies that drive employee engagement, retention and customer satisfaction.
