Hi Everyone,

It is not long now before I head across to Europe for the International circuit. Over the past month since returning from Sail Auckland I have been training at home (SYC), up at Hamilton Island, participating in the launch of the Australian Sailing Team and also training in New Zealand with new coach Ian Neely.

Hamilton Island was once again a great venue to train at. The focus of this camp was on fitness as well as onwater training, with lectures on psychology, Olympic selection, rules, and weather. The camp really gives us a chance to touch base with the rest of the team and also the administration before we head overseas.

A few days after the camp we all headed to Sydney for the Olympic team processing and also the Australian Sailing Team Launch held at Audi centre, Rosebery. It was a great night for the team, sponsors and patrons to reflect on past performances and also to the future.

[Sorry, this content could not be displayed] For the next five weeks I will be competing and training at two ISAF one events Palma, Spain and Hyeres, France. Then back home for seven weeks of intensive training before going across to Portugal for the ISAF Worlds, then Test-event China in August.

Over the next five days I will be training at Takapuna, New Zealand with head Radial coach Ian Neely before heading across mid next week.

Looking forward to the testing year ahead... Time to take it on.

Happy Sailing
Krystal
