ASMEX - still time to register

by Jeni Bone on 22 Apr 2014
Day 1 of 2013 ASMEX Conference AIMEX
The premier industry conference for the superyacht and export industry, ASMEX will be held 20 and 21 May, prior to the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show, and there's still time, and reason, to get your registration in.

Delegates who book and pay by 25 April will go in the running to win a weekend for two people at the InternContinental Sanctuary Cove, plus a $150 voucher to spend at Black Angus Grill, as well as other prizes.

Aside from the incentive, the two-day conference promises a larger program than ever before and networking opportunities that are second to none.

'The speakers this year are from all segments - manufacturing, tourism, superyachts, business development, media, government and trade - and represent some of the world's most influential professionals in their fields,' says MaryAnne Edwards, CEO at AIMEX/Superyacht Australia.

As well as presentations on topics as varied as Focus on Marine, an update of the Australian government’s view of the
marine sector' by the Hon. Bob Baldwin MP; Australian & global economic overview and outlook with a focus
on Asia from Andrew Booth Director, Asia Pacific Desk ANZ; The importance of Tourism Australia activities for the Australian marine and superyacht industry, presented by Katherine Droga, General Manager, Destination Development Tourism Australia; A strategic plan for Asia, Australia and the Pacific Region, plus some insight into the lessons learned from the Mediterranean & the Caribbean from Martin Redmayne of The Superyacht Report, there will be plenty of time for networking.

The morning tea and lunch periods have been extended to optimise the networking experience. Delegates can also register for 'business matching' with individuals or companies they would like to be introduced to.

Accommodation for delegates is still available at the InterContinental Sanctuary Cove at the special rate of $195 per night including GST, 18 to 21 May, 22 to 25 May is $350, including GST.

Pricing for the two-day event is $450 for non-members and $295 for AIMEX/Superyacht Australia members, which includes all social functions: welcome drinks on the Monday night and conference Awards Gala Dinner, where the Club Marine Australian Marine Export and Superyacht Awards will be announced.
