Nathan Outteridge was the winner of the final race in the 2014 A-Class World Championships, sailed at Takapuna

Glenn Ashby of Australia won his eighth A-Class World Championship title with a second place finish in the final race. New Zealander Blair Tuke taking fourth in the final race to finish second behind to Ashby. Peter Burling, Tuke's 49er skipper the was third overall.

Emirates Team NZ tactician Ray Davies (NZL) finished third in the final race, but it was not enough to edge him ahead of former Olympic Silver medalist and Class President, Andrew Landenberger for fourth place overall.
