RS:X European Windsurfing Championships 2011 SW
Day two of the RS:X Youth Europeans enjoyed yet another brilliant day's racing. A full set of three races in both the RS:X Youth Men and the RS:X Youth Women's Fleets where the top two Agnieszka Bilska (POL09) is tied on seven points with Kamila Smetkala (POL104) after trading places for the last two days.
The battle will be between these two over the final four days will be about who can win the psychological battle. On current evidence, this will go to the wire. Back in third is another Polish sailor, Barbara Dmuchowska (POL118) who will have her own battle to fight with Laura Kishon (ISR34) and Noelle Finch (GBR703) who are both within striking distance.
Over in the RS:X Youth men's fleet Pawel Tarnowski (POL182) is going to be hard to beat. His discard may be a tenth but his other five results include four bullets and a second. Louis Giard (FRA155) is five points back and can only hope that Pawel has a 'bad day in the office' if he is to have any chance of getting on terms.
The fight for the minor places is wide open with each of the top six putting in finishes in the mid-teens already and another ten races to go with the last being the medal race counting double points.
Wednesday is a rest day so everyone will have time to rest, re-group and prepare for the end gamer to come.
