2015 O'pen Bic World Cup Regatta - Race day arrives

2015 O'pen Bic World Cup Regatta - Day three greeted the 66 competitors in the U13 Division who were to sail in the morning session but the postponement flag was raised due to the wind which was still light and flukey. Finally with a southerly breeze filling in off they went each race session would see three races completed for each age division.

The Danish/German Brothers Magnus and Lennart Frohmann dominated the session with both on five points by the end of the session followed by another German Leonard Beyer on 11 points the session was sailed in a 10 -13 knot breeze in the afternoon both the U16 and U19's took to the water in a breeze which turned easterly at a strength of eight - eleven knots.



In the U19 category the racing was very tight around the course Czech Veronika Zivna with a set of seconds holds a slender one point lead over the USA'S Lars Von Sydow who had two bullets in races two and three in third is NZL Liam Herbert the U16 division today was dominated by Australian Kristen Wadley with three bullets her starting set up each of her races closely behind on points is the ever strong NZL Sean Herbert with NSW Tom Wright in third.

Racing continues tomorrow with three heats for each division followed on the 31st with the Teams Racing World Cup.
