2015 Copa del Rey MAPFRE – It was not exactly a coastal classic, but Vladimir Liubomirov and his crew won the 30 miles race for the 52 Super Series on Palma Bay, Quantum Racing took second with Platoon third.

Steve Benjamin on Spookie made the best start off the pin and led around the top mark ahead of Platoon, Quantum Racing and Bronenosec.

It was on the second, longer beat that Bronenosec hit the front and from there they were quickly able to establish a solid lead which they held to the finish.

Azzurra finish fifth to maintain a two points lead at the top of the table ahead of Quantum Racing.
