In the last 26 years, the Coast Guard Foundation has awarded more than $3.8 million to over 630 college-aged young adults through its scholarship program. The non-profit’s commitment to education support has significantly grown over time and is now a primary focus of the organization.

“We strive to serve the Coast Guard community and our scholarships are the very core of our support to those who sacrifice so much,” said Susan Ludwig, president, Coast Guard Foundation. “It’s rewarding to see what these young men and women have done to give back to their community and for those we have already helped, we are so proud of who they have become. We were honored to be able to award a record of 128 scholarships last year and look forward to continuing to expand the program again this year.”
