ISAF Sailing World Cup - Top ranked sailors to start in leader bibs

2016 ISAF Sailing World Cup | Weymouth and Portland - The highest ranked sailors competing at Sailing World Cup Weymouth and Portland have been presented with the yellow, blue and red bibs in advance of the first day of racing on Wednesday.

Traditionally sailors are handed the leader bibs after the first day of racing but in Weymouth and Portland the sailors at the top of the World Sailing Fleet Racing Rankings received the bibs in advance of the competition.

They will wear them on the first day of racing to highlight their long-running, continued good form at Olympic Sailing events.

Sailors receiving bibs are:

Men's 470

Yellow - Mat Belcher and Will Ryan (AUS)
Blue - Sime Fantela and Igor Marenic (CRO)
Red - Anton Bergstrom and Fredrik Bergstrom (SWE)

Women's 470

Yellow - Camille Lecointre and Hélène Defrance (FRA)
Blue - Lara Vadlau and Jolanta Ogar (AUT)
Red - Hannah Mills and Saskia Clark (GBR)

Racing kicks off on Wednesday 8 June and will conclude on Sunday 12 June with the Medal Races which will be broadcast live on the World Sailing TV YouTube Channel.
