America's Cup 2013 Race 1 & 2 Live Streaming here

by Sail-world.com on 8 Sep 2013
Challenger and defender reaching downwind. - America’s Cup Chuck Lantz http://www.ChuckLantz.com
The 'September Showdown' for the 34th America's Cup begins this at 1315 PST time today Saturday 8th of September.

Oracle Team USA begins its defense of the 34th America’s Cup today. The team will face Emirates Team New Zealand on Saturday, September 7, on San Francisco Bay in the first two races of the Finals. Race 1 begins at 1:15 pm PT, with race 2 following at 2:15 pm PT.

Racing on Saturday and Sunday will be live from 1:00 -3:00 pm PT. That is 9pm GMT, 10pm in France & Spain etc, 6am Sydney time, 8am New Zealand time.

Live racing and replays can also be viewed here (subject to territorial restrictions), that is for certain countries including the USA and New Zealand where it is geo-blocked . Please advise of others, as you regrettably discover them.

With Oracle USA going into the series starting with minus two, having been penalised because of the AC45 Kingpost affair. it’s going to be a drama filled event. You might remember the first entry into the prestart box in the America’s Cup off Valencia but we suspect that will be nothing compared to what will happen at Saturday 1.15 pm USA West coast time, when Jimmy Spithill and the Oracle USA team come into the box on starboard tack.

With a large Sail-World Team we will be working very hard to bring you dedicated America´s Cup newsletters late on the weekend, on Monday and thru the series. Stay with the Sail-world team for all the live action, replays, analysis, images and interviews.

The two races played live here.

Here is the replay.
